Building a Treehouse Ideas

Are you planning building a treehouse? Every child dreams about own treehouse. Maybe you have experience and skills for building a treehouse? At first it may seems easy but when you begin you will realize that building a treehouse is something more than few wooden planks, some bent nails, some rope & a trip to A&E later puts you in your place. That is why you should always begin with good sets of treehouse plans.
Here are some factors that I consider before building tree house.
- Before you begin anything of course you need right tree. Not just any tree will be good enough. Seek for a great one, bigger is better (to some point of course). Definitely make sure the tree is healthy. Some trees seems ok but they are rotten inside or have some kind of bugs in them. Hire or find processional that will check tree for you.
- If it is possible you can choose two or even more trees close together so building a treehouse would be even easier. With few trees you can build more advanced and safer building between them, reducing the amount of struts you’ll need to use.CHECK this website for best treehouse plans.
- You will obviously need materials, but make sure you’ve some good tools. You do not need to spend thousands of dollar on advanced tools for professional carpenters. Basic tools like table saw, drill etc. is enough. If you don’t have these tools then borrow from someone.
- Do all measurements and check dimensions. Inspect lengths of materials you will need and how big should be your tree house. If you have good set of building treehouse plans than you will have materials list. All you have to do with it is just go to local lumber store and buy exactly what you need.
Design and construction of a platform.
There are hundreds of different designs and styles of treehouses. It almost doesn’t matter what size or shape you are building a treehouse. You can always find right design as long as it fits the tree. But if you are not experienced carpenter and don’t have much skill you should choose normal rectangle shape. Octagonal or other shapes may be too much complicated for beginner. Trust me on this you do not want building a treehouse to be boring or frustrating process. it should be fu and simple and that why you need treehouse plans.
